My first Hyper crash
Well I got my first crash on the Hyper out of the way. Slower downhill left. I knew the road well. What I didn't see was a ton of fresh gravel (a huge strip) 100 feet before the turn. The gravel was in the shade which made it hard to see. As soon as I saw it, I low sided and was on my head and left side.
Anyhow....bike got the usual cosmetic stuff (foot peg, clutch lever, hand guard, shift lever, left plastic, exhaust cover). I, on the other hand, got my left leg stuck under the bike and drug for a good distance. Unfortunately, I was wearing jeans and not my riding pants. There's nothing structurally wrong with my leg/knee, but the hamburger is out of this world. The Doc had to dig about and inch under the meat for some glass and rock that turned up in an xray. I'm glad I didn't try to clean myself up.
Bummer!

I feel sorry having read this, dude... I hope You have some sort of pain reducer.
Do You need a skin graft? Monkey skin is cheaper than human skin, and its just as good.

Hope you come good ASAP man. Could have been worse I guess.
Murphy's Law suggests that the only time you choose to go casual on the bike, is the day you'll go down.
This is why I'm also a stern advocate of ATGATT.

I'm off the pain meds. It's fun (not really). No skin graph needed, thankfully.
I'll still wear jeans for my commute to work. For anything spirited, I'll be wearing the bovine hide. Side note, I got some square toes shit kicker boots. They probably saved my toes from being ground off....not that I'm a squid that would ride in anything other than leather shoes/boots over the ankle.
