HM is so bad at low rev/speed. Is there a fix?
Every time I am in the car park. It's low end performance really drives me crazy. It just felt like it would stall at any moment.
Does any of you know whether there is a fix for this?

ECU reflash or seeing that you have a 796 a PCV or Bazzaz might do it.

change your front sprocket from a 15tooth to a 14 tooth and the bike will be like night and day

14t helps, only fix is full exhaust, air filter and a reflash or PCV.

Can someone describe this "problem"?
I'm looking into the HM796 which will mainly be a daily commuter for me so any slow speed challenges are of interest.
I have not test ridden the bike but any info would be help for me when I do (what to test/check out).
Thanks.

A little chugging, surging in the lower rev range due to poor (lean) low rev fueling and tall gearing. Most Ducati's suffer, a 14t sprocket moves the problem to even lower in the rev range where usually you aren't at a part throttle situation (or where you usually have the clutch pulled in) thus pseudo fixing it.
It can be annoying, but not overcome-able with a little extra clutch work. Hell coming from an I-4 600cc machine that required constant clutch modulation its not bad at all.
The real fix is to get rid of the lean condition/poor fueling at the low revs which is the "ducati tax".

Read the threads about Ducatidiag. It's a few pages in, but it'll give you the answers to your questions.
