Another luggage idea
I picked up this bicycle rack trunk on sale at REI. Perfect for small stuff when no backpack is present.

molto cool.
just don't put a lot of weight on that rack ... they tend to break the weld at the front mounting points.
btw, that's a mighty good looking set of mirror mounts you have there

Yeah, the instructions said max load 5kg, which is less than the capacity of an Ikea shelf.
I've read about people strengthing the rack By adding another bracket.
Meanwhile, I'll avoid heavy loads.

Luggage options
Good idea, especially if you can use the bag on your bicycle too.
Offering up some photos of what I have used. Ducati rack and tail bag are expensive but works well. Also use an Ortlieb duffle on the seat and rack. Tourmaster/Cortech micro tank bag.

Is that the DP tail bag? It actually looks wider than I remember it.
Nice bike, white was actually my first choice but couldn't fine one in CA.
Perhaps I can find someone on the forum who wants to migrate from a white 796 to a matte black one...

DP tailbag
Yes, it is the DP bag. It is collapsed in the photo, expands up a couple of inches and comes with a rain cover. Large enough to be useful.

I use this bag. It fit the DP rack perfect
Joe rocket Manta Tank Bags
Remove magnets, wrap legs under rack and 2 small bungies
Only $50 and you can use the cool magnets elsware
I got the camo version but comes in other colors
Caries quite a bit but is small and conforms to rack shape
