Racing bellypan group buy interest?
Testing the waters for a mate of mine who is running a race fairing business.
We´re looking at making a batch of race bellypans for the Hypermotard. Price should be around 150-180€ incl. mounting brackets.
Is there any interest in these things? If so, raise your voice.

Your friend and you sound like you would be good candidates for the "grass roots" foum, ie small vendors making limited production unique products.

Fibreglass with some kevlar where needed (mounting holes etc). Probably not working with a sidestand, since it´s a racing item.
Carbon is problematic because he is doing the whole thing by hand, not autoclave. His handmade items are of really good quality. He made the Desmosedici replica fairings for the 999 for example.

Yes, all the oil and a little more (you´re not always going straight when losing oil I heard ).

Let me look into how much these people here are interested and I´ll be happy to move away from the subforum if you want me to. I am not the maker of the bellypans, just trying to see if there is interest in those items and passing the info along. I want one of those myself and my mate would want to make more than 1-2 items to make it worthwhile.

Just a little modification to the pan and it will easily accept the kickstand. Here is mine for reference.
