Front fender

I know it's been said that a monster front fender won't fit the HM. Can someone tell me why it doesn't fit? Do the holes not line up? Is it to wide to fit between the forks? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Someone will correct me if i'm wrong...but the HM front fender is held by two struts that mount on the same lower that holds the brake calipers. I think the Monster doesn't have the same lower mount or a place to connect the struts to.

I think the monster fender would bolt up to the bracket that the fork protectors bolt to and just delete the struts. Just looking for a cheap monster fender to try it out.

Either a LSL Urban headlight or a GSG MT. I wanna find out about the fender first before I make a decision on which headlight to run.

Hmmm...looks like a concerted effort to turn an HM into a KTM Duke...

PS: looks like the mudguard I had on my S4, came from Shift Tech I believe.

It's quite simple, really. Drill new holes. Use dummy bolts with nuts (LOCTITE) in the piece's existing holes. FYI I am referring to the DP Diversion CF mudguard, and I speak from personal experience. Refer to the photo album in Mi profile. Not out of laziness, I just changed comps.

Finally got the front fender bolted up. Keep in mind it's just a prototype. still needs a little tweeking to be perfect but shouldn't be to hard. Think it looks pretty good.

If u do this will u sell me a strut for cheap? One of mine snapped off at the brake mount...its feels like cheap aluminum. No wonder it broke...
