What's your top speed?
Today I hit the rev limiter in 6th on my hyper 1100S '07, didn't even think it was possible since I read that the termi's 2-1-2 don't really gain any power. Apart from a DP ecu and the termi's and the DP lid, my engine is fully stock and I can hit 146mph(235km/h) with it on the speedo, which to me seems a bit unreal as alex is getting almost the same top speed with his engine of death II. So, what's everybody else getting? Did Ducati underestimate the power their stock machines produce( same as with the 749, produced more HP than listed) ?

The most I ever got out of my previous non S model was 137mph on my trip through France.
Not sure what the Evo SP will get, will let you know once the steering damper is fitted
Cheers,
Paul

Why not, the gearing hasn't changed....much. All things being equal except for horsepower, both bikes could get the same top speed, just the more powerful one will get it faster.
I was running with a buddy on an R1 and I hit 131........JUST before the red Dodge pickup truck began pulling out in front of both of us.
He stopped halfway out and we both flew by......

Same here. 08 S with 14tooth countershaft. I've seen 214 once, must have been with a tailwind.
Engines 101: More HP doesn't mean more kmh, you just get there faster.
