Hypermotard 2012

Hi guys, here's my last creation, a kind of radical hypermotard, with classical design codes like good old spoked wheels, old style exhaust..hope you like it!!

Very good job !
In fact it kinda looks like Hyperstrada77 old project.

You should get rid of one of the front rotor to get that thing closer to real motard.

looks good, but it needs a bigger engine.

edit, after looking closer the light gray just blends in with the background, I thought the dark was all that was there.

Good work.

I like the "floating" handlebar design.
It should help with vibration....

thanks for the good feedback! of course there's a lot detailing still to be done, i promoise i'll fix the handlebar to the clamp :-), i'll also remove one rotor to see how it looks. If you guys want to see some modifications just tell me! i have lots of ducati parts modeled so you want to see it with single sided swingarm or something else just ask!

cheers.

That's awesome! I did some dabbling in Solidworks a couple years ago, switched jobs before I really got proficient at it...used to have one of those 3D printers at work and made some simple parts, would've been nice to make a replica model of this to go on the display shelf!

try putting a standard fender on and a lower profile headlight with a small shroud (like the streetfighters) Im curious what it would look like.
