Hypermotard Dyno Charts

What's with the Power Curve? Looks lyke a escalator I saw a EVO SP dyno chart that doesn't look similar & Mi butt dyno reckoned more... The Tuner said Mi tyres were robbing horsepower, as they are really hard Pirelli slicks.

At any rate: When I ride it, I feel it is better than ever.

Compares/Contrasts?

Why run slicks Nik?

Aside from the lack of DOT rating and tread, the compound is not designed for the heat cycles of street use. You are actually hurting your traction, not helping it.

Dave:

Because its really a track bike atm. Since the slicks got put on at the end of April, I've kept it off the streets, besides that one canyon run, they've got Mi thru three trackdays... I still have no headlight, much to Mi chagrin As soon as I get Mi last three td's in on this set, I'm picking up some Bridgestones, and maybe afford that headlight build I've been meaning to do.

The dyno chart looks fine, looks like you picked some decent low-end, overall a good improvement for just a dyno fuel mapping.
The slicks should not make a difference on the dyno, as many bikes are dynoed with slicks, a bigger difference would be in the "OD" of the rear tire, like when the tire is new vs wore out.
I do not think street riding will hurt those slicks, (your type) street riding just dosen't heat them up like at the track, so that will not add much to the "heat cycles"
& what the heck R U doing up so early? (For you) LOL Aloha Alex
