Angry Just got rear ended!!

No....not my Hyper, my work truck, if it had been my Hyper I would not be here typing this.....so I guess I'm "lucky"

Coming home from work this Wed late afternoon, I was stopped on a two lane street due to traffic up ahead, and "WHAMM!!" I got hit from behind, at (I was told ) 40-45mph, never saw him coming, and then my truck slams into the car in front of me, so now my long bed Toyota PU looks like a accordion short bed, my truck & and the SUV that hit me were both totaled!

I got ambulanced to the hospital, got x-rayed & checked over, no broken bones, (thank goodness) just badly beat-up, hurt my neck, back, lft shoulder, & rt ankle, accident happened at 5:30pm got released at 2:30am, (fu*ked up hospital!) at least I got pain shots, and prescriptions for pain killers & muscle relaxers. Bad thing is since I own my own company I still have to go to work, one thing about good pain killers is they do work on the "pain" but make you goofy in the "brain"

Moral of this story......watch your ass & never be last in line. Aloha Alex

Yeah. Thats why i always like to be ahead of the traffic junction lineup. There are drivers who just couldnt give 100% focus on the road. Darn the handheld communication technology.

Dude!!

So sorry to hear this but really glad you're OK. Maybe you need a bigger work truck next time. You should have left some tools sticking out of the back.

Don't take any chances if you start not feeling "right", get checked out again.

Dave

Holy hell, that title scared the shit outta me! Glad you're ok and you were in a bigger vehicle. At least ya got some happy pills outta the deal

This shit is crazy these days. Now that texting and driving is illegal in Virginia it's even worse as these assholes KNOW it's illegal and now hold their phones in their laps with their heads down. Drives me nuts. Every single time I see this I wanna roll up to 'em at a light and grab that fucking phone and smash it on the pavement. Selfish assholes.

And damn, Dave, I remember that video! Ha, I'm old....

glad your OK,

Thats why when Im on my bike, when I come to a light, I split lanes or go in the breakdown lane if I have to. This makes sure I don't get sandwitched (my cousin actually died this exact way a few years ago).

I live in Massachusetts where its illegal to split lanes (stupid law) but I'd rather risk a ticket than my life.
