Let's see what slider you have. Photos please.
I am thinking about install sliders everywhere to protect my motard. I am little bit concern of the styling. Would like to see some pictures of your sliders and information like where you bought from and model name/number.

Worth It:
Get Rizoma Frame Sliders: lesser probability of snagging on contacts.

Function/Econwise
Motovation makes fine bar ends...
T-Rex Racing make great axle sliders.
I have also seen a most over-fine Hyper with it's OEM passenger footrests constituting teflon material. Ingenious.

I second the T-rex. Here is a shot of my frame sliders... I also have rear axle slider spools so I can use a standard paddock stand with them.

I crashed my HYM a few months ago due to a violent tankslapper on the highway going 80mph and no sliders of any kind and engine case, frame, forks, wheels never hit the ground during its 500ft slide. Based on this experience I don't want/need sliders.
I've seen low speed crashes with sliders and they (almost always) end up damaging the frame at the slider location.

Most of the damage can be seen in these pics
The only thing that was damaged that wasn't cosmetic were the steering stop tabs but that wasn't even from the crash itself, since they're both tweaked on either side my best guess is that it was from the tankslapper itself.
The crash happened because of a bunch of things but what it really came down to is that I was going way too fast, so when a car cut me off I panicked and grabbed a fist full of brake and went into a tankslap that I couldn't save.

Those little burgers are also called sliders. They are very good with a mug of beer.
