New to me 08 Hyper S
New Hyper S owner here. Found the bike listed on Craigslist with only 747 miles on it. Full Termi, DP seat, few little extra carbon bits here and there.
It was stalling on me at first but as a temporary fix I gave the throttle stop screw a 1/8 of a turn and that seems to have fixed it for now. The bike was serviced previous to being sold and had the fuel system cleaned, oil changed, new plugs, and whatever else is included in the 600 mile service.
It's not my first Ducati, I previously owned a 1098 that I sold because I felt like it was too expensive to risk it at the track and it didn't make much sense as a street bike for me.
Our maiden voyage was the 200 mile ride from north of Atlanta to Birmingham. Of course I got caught in a torrential downpour for 100+ miles. Good thing I thought far enough ahead to bring a ziplock bag for my phone/title/bill of sale.
Still trying to get used to this torque monster as most of my bikes have been I4 sportbikes. The 1098 and Triumph Daytona 675 being the exceptions, but even those are high revving.

Congratulations and welcome to a new side of riding.
I got a Multistrada after the Hyper and actually had to get used to a higher revving motor after the wide torque monster that the hyper is.

It'll see some track duty. I live 10 miles away from Barber Motorsports Park, and 45 miles away from little Talladega. I'll probably put some new rubber before hitting the track though since the stock tires are 4 years old.
