796 throttle mounting?

I'm trying to mount these to allow some aftermarket mirrors which I've settled on:

http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=882

Problem is that the throttle cable would run right into the threaded-stalk on the mirror adapter (the mirror adapter is a slick c-clamp that replaces the c-clamp for the brake assembly mount). I called my dealer and the tech said they had a 796 in there, which had the stock throttle cable assembly portion rotated about 120degrees (which would be great for me!). So I guess there's some way to do this? Any ideas? I don't know how any of this shiznit works.

to answer your question you might have to take the tube off to rotate it,not to hard, didnt look at mine.

but you do know that the large hole where the brake lever mounts to the master, its ment for a mirror to go there, you just put the mirror in place with a long bolt and a nut at the bottom. some guys here are useing aprilia mirrors

well I'm an idiot, I was wondering about those holes! I sorta forgot about them. I guess mirrors like these will just slide through NP? (then I can use their provided nut, or slide my own nuts on there...hah)

Seca 8 Composite Mirrors

That would be great since the adapters below are $50 a pop....yeah, crazy, I know...

If you still want adapters, you can also get some from Wheeling Cycle Supply, for less. The 796 throttle cable is a close fit, but no problem.
