Hyperlights
I was free Saturday afternoon so decided to install a couple items brown santa had delivered for me.
-HID Kit from DDM Tuning.
-Hyperlight Brake Light.
DDM Tuning HID kit was an fairly easy to install system. I'm really happy with the HID KIT. A major improvement over stock light at very reasonable price $55. Now I need to find white LED to replace the Two small Parking lights so it matches.
I also installed a set of 16 LED Hyperlight brake flashing unit (below plate). It helps drivers to see you at stop lights or alert drivers when you are applying brakes (slowing down). The LED will flash when brakes are applied. A must IMHO for city driving. Easy, quick install with no issues. Install location was using the inspection sticker plate the dealer provides and I just bent it back. I will find a more suitable angle iron type bracket to replace what I have. The LED attaches with a 3M double stick tape to the bracket. Cable connection was easy with simple easy to read instructions. Very happy with the outcome.

I have the DDM HIDs and they are great.
The HIDs in the halogen refractors do as they say a produce "light scatter" but the light is SO BRIGHT that you don't ever notice. Every part of the road that I need to see is very well lit.
I'm very happy with mine.

Here is the thread with pics
How do you change these ugly damn bulbs?
What tail light is that? Is it the smoked with integrated signals? I really want to get one but i want it to at least have a factory harness to connect the break light.

Thanks for the link on sourcing the LED for the parking lights...I will be putting an order soon!
Sorry, I cant remember the name brand of my tail-light. I will take a look when get a chance. Yes, it's the smoke version with integrated signals and the install was a breeze. Very happy with the tail-light kit.

Where did you end up sticking the Balast...?
I had to zip-tie mine on the side opening on the frame. I wanted to stick it behind the plastics but the cable was not long enough.

I put the ballast and the little box that goes with it in the beak. I used double sided tape to hold it down and it sits just inside the beak. The switching unit for changing high/low beam is tucked into the left side of the frame.
I wish there was less stuff to hide but the job is done. Now I never have to think about it again unless I take the beak off (which I have) and have to unplug two extra wires, no biggie.

I think I am going to pass on the HID for this. However . . .
What is the next best plugin type base on experience. What I've read through searches yields several different brands/types.
Your HID looks good.
