FNG from Afghan
Hey there all,
Currently stuck in afghanistan working for the Army. When I was home last on R&R I bought this sweet left over 08, 1100s.
It came with: Full Termi 2 into 2 exhaust, ECU, filter, Skidplate and a handfull of CF goodies. I have since added a new clutch cover/pressure plate, LED smoked tail light and a tail tidy kit from flebay.
Just ordered today.... Rizoma rearsets, frame sliders and pass pegs.
I think I might go with the DP seat because the sergeant seat has odd looking material for a cover IMO.
Anyway Im Alex and here is my bike. It will take its place next to my S2R Dark.

looks killer, clutch cover looks cool, but is there plexi in the middle section? seems a little dangerous if not.

How dangerous does mine look? Keep your bootlaces tucked and there is no problem.

Mods that are purely cosmetic or functional? If you're talking about functional I'd say you'll be tweaking the suspension. Really depends on how much you weigh and how you wanna ride. There are a TON of suspension threads here and you'll quickly learn which guys have invaluable experience. This thread for example: 1100S Suspension setting starting guide?

Hey from Afghan again
hey all,
Remember my first post a while back? recap... bought bike while on R&R (Civ contractor). Firsts mods were the stuff the dealer installed as part of the deal for the bike. Termi full exhaust, chip, filter, carbon huggers and a few other bits.
round two was my turn.
Rizoma: sliders, pass pegs, rearsets, fluid res X3,
DP seat and steering damper ( I cant not get the damper to fit)
Round three will be levers and clutch slave, a few more carbon bits
enjoy
Alex
