haha, thanks! Haven't met too many people out here yet, but heard the bikes racing up and down town all night last weekend...tons of riders here, bike night is supposedly at the local Sonic on Thurs so I guess I'll meet up then. Military town and the base is flooded with bikes, some 1098s but haven't seen any other ducs yet, especially not a hyper. Nobody out here knows what to make of the bike, everyone looks at it like it's an alien.

I love that area. I spent 8 years in the Air Force up at Cannon near Clovis,NM. The only thing about NM is if the wind ever did stop everybody would fall down. If you get tired of Cloudcroft you need to top off and hit Ruidoso. Some nice roads leading up to the ski resort. But my favorite place has to be the Taos area. I would be a little nervous to drive a Hyper that far with so few gas stations but it is probably one of the most scenic places I have been. Enjoy and watch the cows.
