2010 evo sp fairing tab broken i need help here....

hey guys(and girls),was riding about a month ago and noticed my left side fairing had massive vibration, enough to be noticed so i pulled over and saw that the bottom tab had broken..ive been in contact with the local ducati dealer ever since to get this thing replaced as its way early in the warranty but ducati n.a. replied back after we sent pictures(the owner vouched that the fairing was in perfect condition otherwise)that they would not be replacing it seeing there has been zero issues other than mine which is complete bullshit as i remember seeing quite a few posts and replies to posts that theyve had theirs replaced i even remember one person saying ducati replaced the fuel tank as it had expanded..so if this has happened to anyone who is reading this and theyve had theirs replaced please send information as to what dealer replaced theirs i really feel strongly about this because im not at fault but i feel like samson and goliath..i love ducatis but again i cannot believe they are sweating me over a piece of plastic as ive given ducati over $60,000 in the last 4 years...thanks everyone...jeremy

I'm bringing mine in tomorrow (for the 7500 mile service), and I'm going to get the process started for my broken left fairing mounting tab.

Mine is starting to break too. Its cracked and gonna go sooner or later.

This thread might help ur cause.

A lot of things seem to be poorly made on this bike. Tank inserts strip, fairings break, air box screw inserts also strip, WTF?

Im really starting to regret getting a Ducati, im sorry, love the bike but the trade off is BS

yup im pissed...

thanks everyone who posted on this thread so far..i feel like theyve awoken a sleeping giant here...its real bullshit when a company gets too large to actually look out for the people who helped get them where they are today...like i said ive purchased $60,000+ in bikes + parts from ducati in the previous 4 years..IM PISSED about this and then to actually be treated like a second hand citizen who is trying to rip ducati off outta a piece of god damn plastic that im sure costed them .33 cents to produce...im asking again for anyone who this has happened to in the past to please leave some info on this thread...

...not to mention the wind could rip the fairing off the bike and i ride with others so you think i want this think hitting a friend riding behind me at 70 mph...i mentioned this to ducati na and their "customer rep" actually f*cking laughed when i mentioned this so ya i felt like there was zero respect and a complete lack of common sense coming from that phone call...not that i would ever wish harm to anyone BUT imagine if that did happen and someone died from it...theyd be wishing their people at ducati na wouldve done something about it...a fairing at 70+ mph can be a pretty serious thing especially when theyve been warned about it..man does this get my blood pressure up there!!!!!!!

Fairing tab

Ducati New Orleans replaced my left fairing under warranty. Sent some photos confirming the broken tab and no crash damage. They called when the part arrived, I stopped by and they swapped it out.
