Please help me decide: 'Standard' Mirrors or Bar-ends?

I've elected to go with new mirrors since I dumped my bike and broke a handguard, and think I've narrowed it down to 2 choices:

A. CRG Arrow (I'd probably only mount one, on the left side)

ARROW Bar End Mirror

B. Seca 8 'sport bike' style ones: (reasonable price, but not crazy like Rizomas)

Seca 8 Composite Mirrors

My issues with the Arrows is that I'm trying to take this opportunity to cut down the width of the bike, and mounting will will leave me w/o nicely symmetric barend caps. And then for the Seca8 style, based on what I read about sportbike style mirrors, will I only get a view of my shoulders? (Another plus on the Secas is that I will install those nice 1# rizoma barends with sliders)

Any thoughts/advice is most welcome.

Rob

Here's my CRG arrows mounted with Motovation bar end sliders. There is a removable insert on the bar ends so that you can run just one mirror but remain symmetrical.

Why fix a problem with something that is likely to happen again?
Standard mirrors with proper bar end armour and foldable levers.

On my previous hypermotard I found the KTM superduke mirrors excellent for seeing over my shoulders.

Mangler7 posted this picture in another post and I've been eyeing his set up for a while. If anyone can elaborate on it please.

Folded out, are you looking below the handlebars to see behind with them or above?
