Bummer
Bike (09 2500 miles) was running as of Fri. Forward to today.... No nothing, no relays, fuel pump, dash display and of course no start. Hard to believe batt could go completely dead in such a short period of time especially since it has never given me an issue once. The bike did get left out in a rainstorm yesterday, was not able to get home in time to throw the cover on. But, I've ridden this bike in some pouring rain and never had a water related issue.
I did take a look under the seat. All fuses good and connectors and relays look clean. Batt terminals are good and tight.
Going to bring a meter home tomorrow and see what the batt is putting out.
Anyone want to throw some bets out what my issue is.
Sorry for the venting.

after owning lots of bikes i have learned that most batteries last about a year a a half, longer if you have a tender. if you only have 2500 miles ( that must means it sits alot) on a bike thats almost three yrs old the battery is taking a crap. i bet two cents on that!

I agree with eL tardo. @ 830 some miles a year screams for a tender, especially since you live in a snow zone and the bike likely sits thru the winter.
I got 9.5 years out of a battery that I kept on a tender which got ridden about 4k miles a year.

Had similar issues after washing my bike. The dash would go blank and no electrics. The situation would resolve itself just by drying. Maybe a hair dryer will speed un things a little.
Ever since, I put a little plastic bag over the dash whenever I pull out the pressure-washer.
Good luck

When I've been stranded by shot batteries it's been just like that, they didn't get "slow" and show any early warning, they just went. Instantly.

You would think Duc would use weather pack connectors with this type of bike.

The bike was a demo, I got it last year hence the low mileage.
I commute with it to work, so 3-4 days all summer I've ridden it with no issue. Not saying it's not the batt, just weird to me in a couple days it goes completely dead. Anyway, threw a fluke meter in the truck to bring home and see what she says.
I was just concerned that the rain caused my issue, we shall see what the batt says and I will report back.

I'm with Alex...
Same issue here couple months ago and found my ground cable had broken off from the battery to the selenoid.
