Chewbacca Clutch Noise
I have been getting a Chewbacca Type Noise from the clutch area when I go from a complete stop.
When I ease out of the clutch slowly there is NO Chewbacca noise but any quicker clutch releases from a complete stop I hear Chewbaccca talking to me... WTF!!
Anyone else having this type of issue and perhaps a FIX???
Bike- Hypermotard 1100/2008 with 10k+miles open clutch.

Time to clean the clutch plates. Do a search, lots of good advice on the subject on this site. Don't worry about it, it's easy and you have to learn to do it regularly. Welcome to the joys of dry clutch ownership.

You might find "clutch squeal" or "clutch noise" yields better search results than Chewbacca

Thanks for the input...!
Looks like I will be investing in a small compressor from Sears. Always wanted one but never had the excuse of needing one until now...LOL!
Cheers

Though I think this is the best description of the noise yet.
