Best way to spend money on a Hyper...
Hello all, I have had my 09 hyper s for about 2 months now. The previous owner had some pretty nice little accessories put on when he had it (rizoma reservoirs and grips, ducati windscreen, skid plate, Sergent seat, luggage rack) Just looking for some opinions on how to best spend about 2 grand on it. Been thinking about exhaust and intake mods but wanna have some input from people who have had a hyper for a little longer and had experience with mods. Looking for the best bang for the buck so to speak...

take off your flywheel, ship it to ducshop, have them machine it down for $75. Absolutely insane difference in turning, acceleration, wheelies... best, cheapest mod you will ever do. Don't go for the superlight nichols.. just trust me on this one and don't put off this mod.. you'll kick yourself for waiting once you try it. There are some huge threads on this in the hyper forum.. I"m just saving you the search.

Go for the exhaust. Cat delete and whichever exhaust your feeling. The sound never get old in my opinion, cant get enough of it.

rear shock rebuilt by traxxion, fork springs with fluid change, brake pads, frame and axle sliders.
Then start on the other performance mods. The flywheel is a very worthwhile upgrade, but expensive if someone else puts it on for you. Exhaust and ECU truly transformed the motor too.

I would say ditch those footpegs for some rearsets. Then get a rizoma handlebar and some decent mirrors. Exhaust is nice but doesnt make the bikd ride any better.
