Low Fuel Light...out of Fuel
Well...it happened this morning for the first time. Ran out of fuel on my way to work. Luckily I was 1/4 from a Petrol station.
Low Fuel Light never came on...WTF!!!
I mainly go by the Odometer to track how much fuel is left but I was running late this morning and did not pay attention.

My trip light stopped working about 4 months ago(Ran out of gas doing a wheelie).. Now I just get gas every 80-100 miles.. I have gotten into the 110-5 range and the light never came on.. It used to come on around 107-115 all the time..
The bulb still works on start up/etc.. I was planning on pulling the pump and filter this weekend.. I'll let you know if what I find.

Same thing here...the bulb still works at start-up but I guess the fuel level sensor is bad or it has a short. Please let me know your findings.

Wow, now this is a scary development! Glad I start getting nervous around 100 miles and start looking for gas. Guess that's an even better plan now.
How old are these bikes you're having this problem with?

I went 29.5 and then pushed it 1.25 to the gas station! It is an easy bike to push.

ITs a 2008 - 1100.
When that ODO hits 100miles that now my sign to start looking for a Petro station.
