HM Carbon Fibre Tail Piece

Hi All

I'm in the process of molding my own carbon pieces for my Hypermotard. Laying up a mold of the tail piece is on my agenda, which is pretty straight forward. However I am interested in seeing what manufacturers have done with the fixtures on the underside of the tail piece ( the plastic lugs that snap off too easily...). I am keen to understand whether there are lugs on the Carbon fibre cover that lock into the slots on the tail light mount frame?

If any one who has a Carbon tail light cover can provide some details or better still some photos of the cover underside I would be greatly appreciative.
