mirror solutions for tall guys 6'2"+?
I have DP mirrors on my Hyper and just can't see shit behind me... I feel like the mirror size is OK but the stalks are too low and close in. I get a great view of my arms no matter what and some part of each lane to the side of me.
I live in a fairly dense area so the bar end mirrors are not going to last very long with lane splitting, any tall guys try the DP mirrors vs Aprilia Tuonos or the like? I'd prefer to avoid full size Dodge RAM mirrors but I need to be able to see without cranking my head all the time.

not sure if this exact model will fit, may be worth a try, raises them up and outward.

maybe get a riser for the handlebars as well? I believe the Scott steering damper set-up raises the bars.
just my $0.02

Dang, great minds think alike. But the problem with those is that they are solid and the LED turn signal wire runs through the DP stalk. So the wire would be exposed. Or I'd have to go with other LED turn signals.
Already have the DP steering damper.
Maybe Tuonos + these risers + new LED turns? Any one else have this problem with the DP mirrors?

i actually really love the look of the hyper's handguards and mirrors, so i put up with their shakiness...sometimes I don't like it, sometimes I figure as long as I can see that the lights behind me aren't blue and red, it's all good
On my last bike I had CRG LS (lane splitter) bar end mirrors and I highly recommend them. Rock solid, functional, great view and look awesome. When ever I get to the point of swapping mine out I'll go with those and a LED turn signal of some sort

Actually the problem is not any shaking, it's geometric. Unless I am just bad with adjusting the mirrors, I can't get a decent view from them unless I scrunch down a few inches in the seat. If the mirrors were about 2" further out on either side they would probably give me good visibility.
Unless I am totally wrong with how I've got the mirrors...

i don't know the DP mirrors...are they a traditional (for want of a better word) mirror? As opposed to a bar end mirror?

I like the Aprilia Tuono mirrors. I’m 6’1’ or a bit more. Still have the stock “hand guards”.

I'm also using Tuono mirrors, with mirror wideners. Much better than stock. Frankly, I've never understood the fascination with bikes that have minimal or no mirrors. A bike with no mirrors looks about as cool to me as a bike with no tires.
