Turn signal dummy light stopped working?
I installed LED's in the front and it worked, but flash rate was fast. Installed rear LED tail light with integrated turn signals (they work fine) and flash rate went back to normal. After installing the rear tail w/ integrated turn signals, the dummy light on my dash stopped working. Now, I might be a dummy riding around with a turn signal on- since I have no dummy light. So now, Anyone else heard of this?

It's easy enough to leave 'em on even when you do have a dash light. They'll be calling you "grandpa" after watching you drive around for hours with your turn signals on...

Happened when I went LED front and back as well. Switching from LAMP to LED in the dash didn't help either. My guess is that the current draw is slightly different from stock and it's making the computer freak out.
What I can't figure out is why, with all the other electro-dodads these bikes have nowadays, we still don't have self cancelling signals.

Blinker unit monitors the current draw and if a lite is bad the current is lower than normal and causes quick flashing to let you know theres trouble
Original front winkers are LED and normally can be replace with other LEDS
The rear stockers are Bulbs and when you change to LED you need load resistors. I made mine with 10 ohm 10W ceramic resistors

Good info. How did you wire them in?

I soldered wire leads to the resistor ends,Heat shrinked the res and wire, and connected one in parallel with each rear blinker.(total of 2)
Make sure the res are not touching any plastic or other wires as they can get a little warm.
