Latest Race ECU maps
All,
does anyone have any idea when the latest ECU map was released for the HyperMotard 1100 Race ECU? I got the Termi 2-1 about a month ago (came right from Ducati) and am noticing that the bike will stall if I blip the throttle on a downshift (not every time). It feels like the bike is gasping for air. Before I check with the dealer, I figured I would ask here.
thanks,
B

Look for the "stalling" thread, good info about adjust the air screws on the throttle bodies.

just had the ti term 2 in 1 installed and i can say mine is perfect.
i know the dealer has to flash the dp ecu and reset the tps when they do the install.
i love the way the pipe sounds on downshifts, love the snap crackle and pops.

you know when the Hyper is "tuned" right, she SHOULD NOT snap crackel & pop, backfire, or make ANY odd noises out the exhaust, just a nice smooth rumble...........just saying Aloha Alex

I believe that snap crackle and pop is an indicator of a lean condition.

i am running a ti system not cf and no db killer
the bike is not backfiring and i tend to run harder than most.
besides if it blows up its on the dealer as they did all the work.
love that 2 yr warranty factor.

I'm running a full system too, with or without the db killers she runs the same, no poping, only louder, if its still "poping" something could be wrong, couldn't hurt to check. Lots of members here can turn that throttle, and with NO snap crackel & pop........once again, just saying. Aloha Alex

bike runs strong no popping on acceleration only on strong downshifts
and from the exhaust only, i wonder if it the ti pipe as carbon fiber tends to
absorb alot of noise.
do notice the pipe is a nice dark tan color.

That what I ment, on deceleration, from the exhaust, she should not pop at all. Aloha Alex

Guys with the Siemans system are stuck with the lambda sensors, even with the Termi kit. This means a lean map off the bottom and the same old shit as far as heat, surging, popping, etc. '08 Magnettii Marelli went open loop (no lambda) for the race ECUs with a completely different map top to bottom, much better solution. Thank the EPA for your lack of options. First thing I'd do to is look into a reflash if possible.
