DP cams ecu,Hyperstacks & full exhaust
Hey everyone,I've had my first Duc (& road bike) for 6 weeks now,08' Hyper 1100, and was wondering if I can safely ride it for a while with the mods I have done untill I can afford to get it onto a dyno for tuning. There's a company here in NZ that can program the factory ecu with custom mapping.
I have fitted a QD header and Yoshi muffler,Ducshop stack kit and a DP Cams ecu.I want to keep riding it but won't if it's going to run lean or damage it with out getting the tuning sorted.I have a vdst and was wondering if I should make any adjustments.
I will have a DP Cams ecu for sale in a couple of months if someone wants one.

You could be running a little lean, but you might be OK also, the cams ECU is 18% richer than stock, do a plug reading, before riding too much, if its OK, keep riding, then dyno run as soon as you get a chance. The dyno will let you know where your running lean, rich, or spot on. Good luck, Aloha Alex

Are you the dude that brought my Hyper bits?
Ramp the fueling upto +11 with the vdst and you should be fine.
Thats what I was running, fuel light will come on between 160-175 depending on how you ride it.
I also was running a pc5 with auto tune.

Yep that's me,
your's is a nice bike sad to see it for sale, too cheap aswell.
I'll try upping the fuel as you say and maybe just take it easy untill it's tuned.
I thought adding the exhaust made a big difference, but the Hyperstacks and ecu made it a completly different bike.
