GP Shift set-up on a Hyper

Has anyone been able to reverse (GP) shift setup on their hyper without changing the rearsets? I track my bikes often and want my Hyper SP reverse (GP) style like my 1198S but I want to keep the factory rearsets on my hyper SP. Its a pain switching between bikes with different shift patterns and Reverse is way more practical while track riding. It looks like the control arm for the shift lever was to short to flip around. Any sugesstions!?!

The only way I know of is new rearsets. The Woodcraft are the best option for this especially since you are tracking it (easily replaceable parts). Also, the peg position is nice if you are used to riding superbikes and switching to the Hyper, more relaxed, but still in the same "family".
