adjusted low idle air screws and synched the throttle bodies ...
wow ... just adjusted the low speed idle air screws and synched the throttle bodies on the hypertard ... HUGE difference in right off idle throttle response.

What did you sync your throttle bodies with? I have a Morgan Carb Tune that I was going to use on it. I've been meaning to do this since I installed my Fatduc.

i rode over to nichols sport bikes service in milpitas, and did the work there. josh did the air/fuel tweaking on the low speed idle adjust, using their dyno sniffer and the dyno-tune software. ultra accurate.
for the throttle body synch, josh used a gauge set that i have not seen before. no mercury, just hoses that went into the gauges and were adjusted by knobs.
the net-net: the low speed idle air adjustment was off by a little on the horizontal cylinder throttle body, and pretty much spot on for the vertical cylinder.
the throttle bodies were out of synch by quite a bit, and did require some tweaking.
suggest that as you are in the bay area, give nichols a call and have them do these adjustments for you.
ciao,
johnc

So how can someone do this by themselves?
I don't have a shop to take my bike to nor do I have anybody that would know how to do it?

I was in the local dealer this morning getting my TPS reset and asked if that was something they could do. I was told "it won't help, the ECU does everything". Based on that I'm more sure than ever that I'll do my own valves and belts.

Depending on the year of bike, it is true. MM ecu's need the tps setting done.

Sounds like vacuum guages with damper valves
Cheap enough to come by
