rear ride-height adjuster ...

just raised the ride-height adjuster so the rear came up .250" from stock (i added an adjustable ride-height rod from an S model, to my base model a few weeks ago).

wow!!! even with this relatively small height adjustement, the hypertard tracks molto better, turns in faster/with more control, and exhibits zero twitchy-ness that i was sort of expecting (disclaimer: i am running an ohlins rod style damper).

next week i will raise the rear another .250" to see if this improves the ride even more, or starts to adversely effect handling.

btw, i know alex has advised to raise the rear up as far as it will go ... but i am a "little" lighter than alex , so don't want to adjust the rear too much in one session.

ciao,
johnc

PS: I am in no way endorsing to go past the 5 thread mark, don't be stoopid like me.

i bet you have ductape holding the threads in, right alex?

ok, i will max out the ride height to 5 threads showing, and drop the fork tubes in the triple clamps if it gets too twitchy for my pussy self.
