Hypermotard light beam shape?
Hi all,
I recently bought a hyper 1100S '07 on an ebay auction. The bike is from the UK and I reside in the Netherlands, so we drive on the right side of the road. I've searched google for a few hours now and haven't come across any info on the shape of the headlight beam. I've seen some retrofit topics but that would be my 2nd option.
So I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the HM has a flat beam or not

We drive on the "right" side here in the U.S.A. also, I believe the headlight is the same for all Hypers, I think it comes just "CENTERED" I think all motorcycles are this way, the adjustment is just up & down. Aloha Alex

Closer to the bottom one, we only have one lamp, a car has 2 or 4 of them. Aloha Alex

If it's closer to the bottom one I think I will have to replace the headlight reflector. I've found the owners and service manual but is there also a parts fiche for the hyper online to look up the numbers?

I travel quite a bit between NL and UK. This was a problem on my S2R1000 and my M1100 - in the UK my light shone across into the oncoming traffic and on unlit roads I couldn't see anything (nor could the oncoming drivers LOL).
Used to sit a little waybehind a car and just follow..
Now I have a HM1100 Evo and as stated above the light does seem to be centred. Not a problem for me anymore. BTW I have an NL bike, not a UK one.

I know the newer models (e.g. evo, 796 etc.) do have a centered beam, someone else with a 796 told me he had the flat beam, however, does this hold true for the '07 model as well?

Do you mean this? Download pdfs for bike parts upto 10 years old.
