final tuning

I bought my hyper new in 08, first one in Orlando I think. was on here a lot then realized I wasn't riding it much for the cost of the insurance, mostly pretty boring riding here in central florida. hot and humid, straight flat roads. after letting it sit for a year and a half or so I got her back on the road.

LV cat elim and silencers, DP race ECU from the cam kit (cams still in boxes), both ends of airbox cored out and BMC filter, TPS reset by dealer, air bleed screws set, about to install the EVO flywheel.

Is it worth doing the PC III and is there a map for my set up? I looked at their website and see various maps but nothing specific to my set up. don't really want to flog my bike on a dyno.

also, was told not to bother with the DP cams unless having the head done and perhaps a bigger dia set of headers. fact or fiction?

opinions are welcomed.

My opinion is that a dyno is the ONLY way to aquire the correct map for your particular mods. Bikes are meant to be flogged. Several dyno runs will not hurt it.

Cam it up & flog away! I have the DP race cams & never heard of that requirement... Mi bike runs over-fine IMO

Right now, I'm saving to get SC Project's oil cooler and a PCV + dyno run. I should break 100 Horsies as soon as this materializes.
