So I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on 08 Hypermotard

Hello, new to the forum and looking at getting a hypermotard and wanted advice. Is a 08 1100 demo with 900 miles sold with a new 2 year warranty a good deal for 10600 OTD? It is Red with gold wheels from a Monster S.

Any issues with this year? There is also a 09 1100 with 3500 miles and 9600 OTD.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The warranty is nice, but sounds kinda steep for a non-S. I just recently bought my 08 1100S with lots o' carbon (Ducati performance and Shfit tech), Ducati Performance seat, Full Term 2-1 system with ECU, Ducati Performance slipper clutch with 2,700 miles for 10,600.00. The bike is immaculate and I'm super happy with it. Bought it locally on ebay. I think you might find a better deal and get the S if only for the forged Marchesini wheels instead of the cast ones. Not that I really care (because I don't ever see selling it), but I think the S will hold its value more than the standard one.

Thanks Rossi, I'll keep looking. I thought I would like the 796 but not enough power for me, got on the 1100 and realized that was the only option. Now I'll just keep looking.

Thanks again.

I have a friend who works in sales at a Ducati dealer in Glendale. He might have something there...or not, but he knows a lot of people selling bikes too. You might want to give him a call. His name is Ben and the dealer name is Pro Italia (in case you don't already know). Tell him Mike with the ZRX and the Hyper sent you. He's a super great guy. A bunch of friends and I have all bought bikes from him.
