Where did you get the stacks? I know where to get the filters but I'm not sure about the actual stacks. After looking at the TPO parts Beast, I've considered just getting some aluminum tubing but have not done anything yet. The Beast appears to be just a tube with a smoothed inner edge on one end.

the stacks are the best part. i took them out of a stock hyper air box.
they go from 2 inches at the base to 3 inches at the top. i bought the air box here in the classifieds and went to town with my dremel. the other funny part is the two small K&N filters cost almost as much as the two big ones.
so anyone can do this, they was no way in hell i was going to pay 300 for one of the name brand kits when i knew all the parts don't cost much.

Very interesting idea, thanks. My stock SS airbox has a couple of horns in it. I suppose I could cut them out and use them also, but these Hyper stacks look nicer.

do you think the plastic stacks will be able to handle the weight of the airfilters mounted to them? Aloha Alex

yes they can, there about the same as pvc, very hard.
i just got done with install, took about a hour and a half with a small fuck up. i didnt route the fuel lines back inside of the frame , and didnt notice til i had it all back together. started it and omg it sounds so mean, the crack of the throttle is 10 times faster.
now time for the tune

Nice idea you have, but I would still be real careful and keep an eye on the plastic stacks, don't forget the bike vibrates & you have road issues to deal with, pot holes, speed bumps etc.etc. and with the extra weight and leverage of the filters on the plastic stack they might crack, remember they were designed to hold.......nothing. Just saying...... but GOOD JOB!!
I hope it works out for you, Aloha Alex
