My Hypers first decent outing

My brother in law and I have wanted to do a blast for a while now but never got round to it, so to use up a few holiday days while the Mrs was at work we set off for a few days in wales as its only about an hour and a half away.

I had just received my new carbon fiber fairings on the Wednesday so fitted those and off we went Thursday morning

I picked out a route from online recommendations, which was further backed up by Fast Bikes "best routes" guide
If you get hold of the guide we did all 3 circuits on the map in the two days at a relaxed pace (most of the time) The roads and scenery were brilliant! The total trip wasn't huge, approx just under 600 miles?

We got soaked the first morning but then glorious sunshine thereafter

Altogether a stonking ride and being a thu/friday there was NO traffic :-D and would highly recommend it to anyone!

here's a couple of pics :-)

just drying out on the way into wales:

The 'Duc' at portmerion:

Chuck on his R1:

Castell Deudraeth:

A mighty fine Rib-Eye steak with stilton @ Fairy Falls Hotel Trefriw:

Just before Mount Snowdon:

and just after Mount Snowdon:

I will try and copy the route tomorrow if anyone's interested.

Nice one! Beautiful scenery, nice looking bike, but DAMN that steak and pint look the best out of all! ;-)

I'm definitely jealous of the B roads you guys have over there...my last company had an office in London and I'd stay over in Henley on Thames...some of the roads around the back areas of Henley were just crying out for a fast bike.

Cheers,
AK

weird how it says "death on arrival" on your license plate

Nice pix, cool scenery. Would love to go up to Britain and carve up your roads.

Ah Portmeirion and the famous "Village." I'm a fan of The Prisoner from when it originally aired. Live here in California but have been there.

Just got my Hyper last week!
