Bazzaz 2011 Hypermotard EVO SP (MAPS NEEDED)
Hello everyone. just got my hands into my 2011 Bazzaz fi with the 02 auto tune and map select switch. I have a BMC air filter and a slip on exhaust using the stock Cat.
Does anyone have a map or two to try out and how to correctly re set my TPS. as i believe i have just messed mine up. (lol) Now I know my system can fix all this and improve to possibly the best F/A mix ive ever had.
Thanks

Resetting tps should just be start the bike and dont touch the throttle until idle evens out.
Atleast on newer siemens ecu's which both yours and my 796 has.

Sorry for the thread jack but how is that Bazzaz working for you? Do you need to have the stock ECU reflashed in order to make it work?
Im waiting on my exhaust to arrive (been 6 freaking weeks!!!!!!) and was planning on getting my ECU reflashed and call it a day. Do you think the Bazzaz is necessary with the set up I want to run, >>>exhaust and ecu reflashed?
I was thinking that reflashing the ECU with a slip-on should be enough but im not 100% sure about it.

The Map that came loaded as "map 1". was causing all sorts of problems. Throwing a check engen light. ill running etc. the 2nt map swtch (witch is just the base FI contole settings) are awesome. Much smoother, more power. less decell popping.
Now Im trying to replace map 1. Hopefully with one from someone who has already created a better base map then I can.
its pretty much my First FI bike AND DEFFINTLEY my first time working with Bazzaz.
ps. Im not intrested in making this a english paper so as long as you know what I mean. Im not intrested hearing about my gramer or miss spelling

Hey CANES. Did you ever come up with some other maps? I have the Bazzaz Z-Fi ordered and the same bike as you. Just trying to come up with as much info as I can before it gets here.

I am only going off of my own experience with the Bazzaz system. I have a 2011 evo and I have the Z-Fi with auto tune. I don't know if you were planning on getting the auto tune or not but it made a big difference for me. I have built several custom maps using auto tune for my weather conditions and engine mods. If I have a problem at a certain rpm range, I go back in and adjust only that range and now I can ride 25 mph in third gear without any surging. If you are going to use auto tune the key is to clear the data before you start a session. If not the data seems to stack from the previous session and throws the data out of wack. The Bazzaz has transformed my Hyper from frustrating to ride at times to extremely smooth and powerful.

I am planning on giving the Z-fi unit a shot without the auto tune. Just going to see how the unit does and go from there. If it still needs it after that I will go ahead and purchase the auto tune and hook it up. What location did you put the A/F sensor? You got any pics of that?
