Hot Rear Cylinder 796

Hi, I installed a bazazz z-fi on my 796 and have not had any luck since, Getting CELs and bike idles terrible like one cylinder in not running correct and when riden it still has bad decel pops, I have gone over every plug and have the unit installed correctly besides the ground for the rear cylinder O2 eliminator I had on the negative battery terminal like the picture from installation instructions but when I called bazazz tech support they said thats no good, I moved ground to another place on chassis and CEL seems to be gone engine still runs the same, I totally removed the bazazz z-fi to futher trouble shoot and with the unit removed the bike still runs the same, I have also noticed the rear cylinder is running way hotter than the front because when I start the bike from a dead cold holding hand on each head quickly I cant hold hand on rear and front is only warm, something is not right and im looking for some help thankyou!

could you post the instructions so we can see how it installs?

and whats CELS?

you said it has a rear cylinder eliminator, does it have a front as well?
when you totally removed it to trouble shoot did you make sure both O2 senors are hooked up and pluged in?
did you have to cut or splice any wires to install it?
do you still have your cat? if you do the rear cylinder would get hot faster then the front due to how close it is.
and if you removed the bazzaz and the bike still runs funny ,you had to miss something or it would run the same as before you ever installed it.
did you pull both plugs to see if your running lean?

just trying to help

My guess it the bad ground screwed up the Bazzaz fueling and fouled the plugs on the front cylinder. Pop them out and i bet they are wet-black.

thank you
so my new guess is the euc is not reading one of the two O2 senors(rear one)
and thats why hes getting CEL and why is running funny.

so again is it pluged in,did he have to splice any wires and is that eliminator still in or did it mess up something?

and swefin796 i thought you had a reflashed ecu with the powercommander5 on your bike?

boy my memjet is looking better and better,no porblems here, lol sorry had too!

Hehe nah I got the Bazzaz, I was going to get the PC-V but decided to go Baz instead cause of the logging and adjustability their kit had

We do have another Finnish guy with the PC-V on his 796

I have gone over every wire/ connector and everything is correct, bazazz kit comes with two O2 eliminators that take place of stock sensors so closed loop can be tuned, when I removed the bazazz unit I pluged stock O2sensors back in correctly, I've checked both plugs and they look the same (not fouled) and I do not have a CAT, I have only used the two wire taps included with kit for tps and gear position (no cut wires). I know for a fact the idle sounds like a cylinder is not running correct, I wonder if an ECU flash would fix problem by removing O2s completely or do I have a more serious issue, Thanks for the imput guys!

Yup, that would be me...

Sorry to hear about troubles with the bazzaz, and at the same time I´m glad I jumped on the PCV soon as it became available!

So did you solve the problem?
If so, what was it?
