Price question on used '08 1100s - Ducati.ms

Well, after owning pretty much most brands available out there I have made up my mind on getting my first Duc. Just sold my Aprilia Tuono and looking to add to the stable.
Looking at a 2008 with a little over 3K miles, 2-1 Termi, S model. Dealer is asking $9.5K + tax (bike is on consignment). It seems a tad high in today's economy. Think I can do better?

Sounds right on. I just picked up a tricked out 08 with 11K miles for $9k.

offer them 7500-8k..otherwise find another

I offered them $8.8 and did not go anywhere... they lowered their pricing from $9.9 to $9.5....
I am in no rush... I have tow other bike sitting in the garage so I can take my time and see

Is that the black one at Plano Kawasaki? Nice looking ride. FWIW, I paid $9k OTD for a new leftover '08 (non-s) last year. The price seems about right to me.

It is.... could not take if for a test ride because is a consignment... but it looked pretty clean

paid 10,450 for my 08 S with DP slipper, full 2-1 term with ECU, DP seat, tons of DP carbon and shift tech carbon, Rizoma reservoirs. 2700 miles.

Seems fair. Termi 2-1 is going to cost $2.5k (if not more, with dealer time) if you have to buy it new and put it on another bike.

So, subtract that and the bike is only$7k.

Buy the bike, support the dealer and put some cams on it.
