Power Commander V for 796 and EVO

Since the Bazzaz for 796 thread got corrupted with accusations and finger pointing, I thought that I would start a new thread with this info.

I'm friends with Dusty Schaller, the Technical Services Manager for Dynojet. I was talking to him tonight about the PCv for the Siemens ECU.

I told him that there was some confusion as to how/if the PCv controlled the A/F Ratio below 3000rpm in closed loop mode. This is what he texted to me verbatim.

"The PCv comes with another module that works with the stock sensors. So you can adjust the entire closed loop area with a slide bar (software). (The PCv) Comes setup to achive 13.6:1 but each cylinder can be trimmed separately."

So for all you guys and gals with a 2010 Hyper or newer sporting the Siemens ECU (you know who you are ) you now have an option that will afford you ultimate adjustability both now and in the future with just one purchase (vs. reprogramming the stock ECU).

FYI (Mods), I get nothing from Dusty or Dynojet. I told him that folks seemed confused about their product and he answered some questions. I just thought I would share.

Dave

I knew it wasn't new but there was some question on some of the threads about whether it did and how it did it. When I was texting with Dusty, he asked if there was any talk about the PCv, so I told him. That's when we got into the discussion about how it worked after he told me that it did work.

It was easier to post up a new thread than to hunt down the ones with the questions/confusion in them so that's what I did.

Thanks for the added testimonial though.

Dave

For those interested....the pcv and eliminators still don't take care of the check engine light you'll get when adding a full system and removing the exhaust servo valve, you also need to buy a Duc ee servo eliminator from Motocreations. They are only 100 bucks from memory.
