Hey all,

Just a quick what's up and introduction...picking up my 1st Hyper tomorrow...2008 1100, in great condition, only 3500 miles!

Mods the PO put on the bike are:
- Rizoma front and rear brake reservoirs, and clutch res
- Motovation front and rear axle slides, frame slides, weighted bar end sliders
- Project SC slip on
- Rizoma front blinkers
- Streetfighter mirrors
- Hyper Racing seat
- Carbon front fender and fork covers, rear hugger, lower chain guard, tail light, rear panels, fender eliminator

Plan is to cruise it for a while and see if I need anything else...will probably pop a windscreen on there for commuting.

Background is primarily vintage bikes...have spent most of my time at Ducati.ms in the other sections as I had a '65 250 that I recently sold.

Anyhow - here's the pic from the PO...mine tomorrow!

Cheers,
ak

That's my favourite color-scheme... black fairings, red trellis-frame! Looks brand new... really in good shape! Have a lot of fun!

Best regards...

I wish my bike looked that good when I bought it! Unless you like to commute in a tucked position don't waste your money on the windscreen. Ugly and pointless IMO

A windscreen makes a big difference. Doesn't look as good as without it though.

Spend the money and get the Carbon Fiber one. I got mine off of Ebay.

Here:

...and it looks like this:

It's modeled (same size and shape) as the DP one but I broke my DP one when I accidentally hit it with my elbow while reaching for the air hose in my garage.

Hey Dave,

Nice looking screen...link doesn't work tho and no luck finding one online. Regardless, got a smoked one on the way from Pro Italia.

Cheers,
AK

I'm picking up an 08 1100 tomorrow too! Mine's all stock and all REDDDDD. Just over 4000 miles. Your color scheme is exactly what I want to do to mine - Black/carbon bodywork, red frame, red lettering on the tank. I really like that windscreen that Decreasing Dave posted, I'll have to see if I want one after riding for a few weeks.
