Termi race exhaust baffle needed

My wife has had hearing hypersinsitivity (no pun intended) since a recent inner ear operation. She loves to ride but earplugs aren't enough. Anyone have a baffle you are not using and would be willing to part with. We have the 2 into one system with oval muffler opening.
Thanks.

FYI - I've been told that if you have the carbon can, the baffle can make it get too hot and it may damage the can.

fwiw, i have had the 2-1 system with carbon can on my hyper for a little over 20,000 miles, and have had no issues with discoloring (i have not run the DB killer baffle).

This one for example.
Carbon sleeve showed obvious melting point. The owner took it to the dealer who didnt do anything. Exhaust exploded 50 miles later.
Replaced

This other one just happened, less than a week ago :
Carbon sleeve starting to melt and discolor. The owner bring it to the dealer who send a request to Italy, and Ducati Italy just refused to replace it.
Ducati said it was due to a "non normal" use, which is weird because the owner of this one use his Hyper on the track...

Both stories are from a Termi 2-1 with baffle.

first carbon doesn't melt in any temp exhaust can cause. now the resin used making it can.a good exhaust in a metal sleeve covered with carbon. aerospace carbon uses high temp resins that take very high temps and that wont happen. so its obvious termi's cut corners when making exhaust

and if you think aobut it ,if it got very hot the rubber strap holding the muffler to the frame would melt too

Thanks for mentioning this. That is a bit of a concern for me since I do have the carbon model. I have heard of concerns about this issue but was hoping the carbon resin would stay cool enough while using the baffle for very mild street riding with my wife. Planning on removing it for solo riding.

The dB level as it is now prevent us from riding together so I will take a chance on it for easy street riding.

After reading you're post, I took another look at the canister outlet. The Canister is oval, but the outlet pipe is round. The outlet is cut at a slight angle so it looks a bit oval. The outlet where the baffle fits is approximately 2" diameter

I have an oval baffle that may fit your canister. The dealer gave it to me thinking it was the one I needed for the full race system but it is not even close to fitting. Measurements on the baffle I have are 2.25" x 1.5".

Happy to pass it on. I bought my bike with the full system already installed and the baffle was not included. After searching for one, this issue was brought to my attention. Just learn to ride at lower rpm when you need to be quiet and enjoy the music when you dont!
