Immobilizer error and the Microtec

I’ve got an immobilizer question in combination with the Microtec. Been using it on my 848, then my Sport classic, all with the normal Key switch and antenna, works perfect.



No I am getting close to having my track bike finished up, but this thing is kind of a mix and match of a bunch of stuff. Basically I have a Hypermotard Dash and no longer am using a key/Antenna. With the Microtec installed and flashed for the Hyper configuration, I am still getting the 37.1 Error code for the immobilizer. (no Antenna) Now I have the black key for the dash but no code card, and when I re-install and antenna and put the key near it, no more error code.

From doing the custom wire harness, I see that the antenna wires go directly into the dash at locations 17 and 18. So I am assuming that since I have the Microtec installed it may start and run fine, (it does crank even with the error code) but I will always have the 37.1 error code on the dash when toggling through the display.



Anybody else running the Microtec with no antenna and having an error code 37.1? Do you just ignore it? If it is always going to be there and I don’t want the antenna hidden somewhere in the harness, any suggestions how to get the dash re-flashed?
