LV Cat Eliminator???

So I just got the eliminator and I cant get the sensor out. Any ideas? And does this need to go back in, as the LV has a cap for where it goes?!?! Tired of searching and the instructions blow...

Yes you take the sensor off the cat and then install it into the LV cat eliminator. It was three years ago so my memory is fuzzy but I believe you loosen a nut with a wrench to pull out the sensor. I do remember the entire procedure of the removal of the cat and the installation of the eliminator to be a very smooth process with no SNAFUs whatsoever.

I got it thanks. Everything went smooth except for that damn sensor. Dint know if I needed it though since LV gives you a cap for it?!?! Just made me question what I was doing.

Depending on year bike and which ECU you are running, will determine whether or not you can remove the O2 sensor.

After the cat is removed the bike will sound much better, like you put on a set of slip ons, the throttle responce will be better, and you might gain a hp or two. Aloha Alex

After a few rides the biggest thing I notice is the throttle, not as jerky, and yes it does sound better.

You can use the LV with the Termis.

I'm in the process of installing my cat elim, got the sensor removed and now I am not sure if I should put it back in the LV. I've got an '08 1100, with the LV elim, LV exhaust, MWR small air filter, and I'm getting the ECU reflashed for all this. Will the reflash make it so I don't need it?

Thanks

You have to put it back or else you will get one of those error codes. I have lv cat delete with the termi slipons and dp ecu. If you get the race ecu that comes with the full system then it by passes it as far as I know.
