I have it, & It is a ingenius & clean piece of tech...one setting, SENSITIVITY. I have mine set to "4". It comes with ENG instructions, surprisingly.
but honestly, Dynojet works just as well + You get a PCV going with it & still spend less than nyne hundi...If I could do it over again I would have gone DynoJet...spent way too much on DP for what the DynoJet accomplishes + fuel regulation.

AFAIK, PC-V quick shifter is not compatible with our Hypers.

Hyper + Dynojet PCIII + quickshifter module = plug and play
Hyper + Dynojet PCV + quickshifter module = work a bit on the link and play
Someone on this board posted about that last summer.

Tho, you are right on one thing.
A Power Commander with a quickshifter and a dyno tune will come cheaper that a DP quickshifter alone and give you more for your money.

I beleive the Nemesis quickshifter also works on our Hyper, but we're not talking about the same money here...

The quick shifter is the same set-up for the PCiii and the PCv. You have to put the signal device into the linkage regardless and will pretty much have to do something similar with any quickshifter you buy. It needs to know when you are shifting to cut the spark.

One of the issues with the Hyper is the length of the linkage, specifically, the lack there of. With the stock rearsets, there just isn't enough linkage to put the shift switch between the lever and the shift arm on the case. This is probably where that individual had his problems. Aftermarket rearsets are definitely a plus if you are going the quickshifter route.

A PCIII or PCV with a Dynojet quickshifter module will work with a Hypermotard, I have a PCV & quickshifter (universal) on my Hypermotard, it works GREAT! It will cut the fuel, not the spark, Aloha Alex

Question

Hey Alex, under "normal" shifting is the gearbox any smoother in around town driving? I find the gearbox on my 08 hyper stiff compared to my 09 HD XR1200 !?
Lee LI NY (PS I just bought a PCV waiting for the autotune)

Anybody got a 2 into 1, no cat, race ecu and stacks Dynojet map to share a fellow forum member ?

The Dynojet quickshifter does not affect normal shifting, nor does it make it any smoother, just make sure all the linkages are set correctly & lubricated, and make sure the clutch is working well. The trans will also loosen up & get better with some miles. Aloha Alex
