Exclamation Rizomi Engine Guards Install ?????

i just bought a set of these engine guards look well made

however the instructions are shit

any one installed these ?

Do you need to support the motor ?

Any help would be appreciated

I am not sure if you have to support the motor. But I do know the torque spec is 60Nm.

I just took off the rubber stoppers on either end. Then placed the new engine rod end-on-end against the original engine bolt and slowly tapped it through with a rubber mallet.

I didn't need to put the engine on a stand, as it seems that the frame does support it well - the mounting bolt holes on the engine extend a bit out and into the frame so it seemed well enough supported.

Just don't rush it and gently tap the other bolt through so at least one side is supported by the new bolt and it should all be good.

Ditto what Vlad said.. You should be able to get away without supporting it.

Finished when i got more then half way thru the bolt just fell out

torque is 63 to 70 nm which is about 55lbs.
