Anyone have the DP Alarm installed?

I had the DP alarm installed on my Hyper 1100 and there's one annoying feature it has compared to the DP alarm on my M696: even with the alarm disarmed and the igniton on, you have to hit the fob to before the bike's electrical powers up.

I'm wondering if this can be disabled, if the wiring was messed up during install or this is intended behavior? I'm not sure I understand this feature since the bike and key have the immobilizer system.

TIA

Hey, I been contemplating to install the dp alarm on my bike.

1. Are there sufficient room to install on the motard?
2. Are the installation easy? Plug and play?
3. Any problem faced so far?

I have found the same behaviour with mine.
Not sure of a way of fixing it. I just end up clicking the fob until i can start the bike...

1. Yes, it installs in the left hand side panel.
2. Installation is easy it comes with all the wiring harnesses pre-done, so just plug and play, if you have even an ounce of technical experience, you don't need a dealer to install it.
3. No problems, though I wished it automatically armed once you turn off the ignition or after a certain time (you have to click the fob.)

Alarms?

I just took the excellent Scorpio i500 alarm off my Aprilia Factory & would like to use it on my Motard, but the limited space seems to be the greatest problem. I'm also installing a Power Commander. Anyone have any experience finding space for these items?
