2011 EVO 1100 still needs the air filter mod ?

Hi, just got a new 2011 Hyper 1100 EVO to replace the 2008 Hyper 1100 that got stolen.
On the 2008 model I performed the air filter mod and was happy about it.
Since the 2011 EVO has a modified engine,exhaust and electronics is it still good to perform the air flter mod as well ?

oh yeah........i recently installed a wasp puk kit to my SP model, we gained 13 HP thats with a full zard pipe too
