MemJet - Where to order from?

I have been unable to find a US site to order a MemJet module.... It could be my Norton anti virus settings ... could someone please give me a link to the best deal..... Mr Mike, where did you order yours from? I am going to go this DIY route and mess w/ the bleeder screws. My bleeder screws were at one half screw driver blade turn to snug... 12 to 6 O'clock .... I backed out to 3/4 and see how it goes. Soon as I get the MemJet I will toss in a K&N and hole the airbox lid.

Thanks.

H

Yesterday i discovered that Memjet's web site was down. I kept searching and found Memjet selling the modules on E-Bay here> MEMJET EVO power module / Juicebox / power commander PC | eBay

Exhaust outlet seems to be the name of the company in Florida. They are on sale for $195.00....and they are in stock for our 796.

I sent a ebay message to the seller/shop and got a reply saying the module ships from Europe hence the cost.

Nobody stocks these in the US???!!??

And by the way I went for a short ride with the 3/4 out bleeder screws and did indeed notice less decel popping ..... much less but not completely gone.

Ordered a MemJet today - shipped from USA

Well, I dove in and ordered a MemJet today. I have not been real happy reading the reports of Re-Flashing for the money spent.

had a long talk with this guy today and ordered directly from him for $209.23 shipped.... Lenny Pedersen MemJet Module Americas LLP Garden City Park, NY USA. 718-468-4680 voice. He is a developer/programmer for the module. He has more info on this technology than I could take in....

I will be dropping in a K&N when I get it. He advised against putting a hole in the lid and said the controlled air and better flowing filter will be all that is needed .... he did say the hole helps @ 8K but not in the middle meat. Also advised against Shelll fuel because of the additives.

I plan on leaving my stock cans in the mix and at most gut them for flow.

Also went on a ride today with the bleeder screws 1 full turn out .... I thought it was better @ 3/4 out and had a screw driver with me and adjusted in route.

MR Pedersen was a very interesting person ... you motor heads with a stock Hyper contemplating a lower budget fuel/performance mod need to get with him.

I remember seeing a thread here somewhere about the bleeder screws but I can't seem to find it now. I might be interested in playing a little with those. Do you have a picture or something showing where they're located? I asume they're easy to get to since you said you adjusted them en-route?

Sounds like you had an interesting and confusing conversation. I don't like to get in the middle of things like this, but just FYI - memjet is developed in Italy by Marco of DM Meccanica - not some guy in NY.

Also, to say to not cut the airbox lid is crazy. I've never once seen a hyper lose power from it - only gain. Also K&N won't flow more air than the stock filter - so that is just a waste of money. The stock filters flows plenty of air - especially for the stock configuration of the airbox.

Lastly, nothing against the memjet as I believe it has it's place, but it is as low tech as you could possible get for fuel injection modification. To even think it would work better than an ECU reflash is crazy! ECU reflash is a solution... items like the memjet are a bandaid. Again - it does have its place and it does work if you only want what it can do... in a case like yours where the bike is stock it is probably the best solution for the money.

No problem Anthony.....I probably mispoke about Mr Pedersen's part ... he is a developer/engineer and tests memjet application for KTM, BMW and others.... he spoke in detail of his test equipment and how the module works to slant the fuel curve .... he is a USA contact support person for memjet. Hope this clears it up.

Search this forum for bleeder screw and you will see pics and discussion.

Ya the comment on the airbox lid was a surprise and very contrary to what I have always read here. I can do my mods in steps to see.... This is my first Duc and I smile everytime I ride it right now. $$ is extremely tight for me so my mods are going to come very slow.

I appreciate the comments/corrections for us all.

My Memjet arrived from Italy yesterday. I'll install it after the break in.
