BMW F800R to Hyper SP

Hi all,
I'm getting an SP but I will have to sell my F800R to do so.
Just wondering if anyone here has done a similar change and what are you thoughts on the hyper after your previous bike?
I'm sure fuel economy will have no comparison, nor comfort.
Any advice on what to look out for? I see some threads about front end wobbles etc.

Cheers,
Cameron

Did borrow an BMW F800R when my Sp did service time "1000km" and fitted Termi 2-1 at the same time .

You will never look back at the Bmw once you have done some miles on the Ducati

Hey Canicoll, it is a case of apples and oranges. I had a F800 for 3 years and I've had a Hyper 1100 since 2008.

I think both bikes do what they do very well. They also couldn't be more different in character. Even though they are both very close in weight and power, I can't think of two bikes that feel more dissimilar.

You have to find one and ride for a while and decide for yourself. Sorry I can't be more helpful but you will either love or hate the Hyper, nobody seems to be neutral about it.

Good luck, maybe you can find someone on this forum who would like to try out the BMW and would let you try their Duc.

Thanks Dr. John. I have ridden the Hyper all of 400 yards so it wasn't quite enough to get any idea about it.
I was actually in an accident and i'm wondering whether to keep my F800R and fix then sell the Hyper, or keep the Hyper.
95% of my riding is daily transport.

I think the hyper is a great bike and is a lot different from the 800r i don't think you will regret getting one
