Why would you? there are lots companies that make springs & fork kits, many forum members here swear by them. I just re-sprung & refreshed my front forks, and it now works quite well. Aloha Alex

Hi Alex..it is tru it is some....not lots companies who make the forks, but I know I am not Rossi or Nicky..some of the products are trash, dont want to name it (hurt some feelings) and the good Ohlins are too much money+ it is still not for 100% racing only.Or maybe I am cheap tooooo

I have looked at the stock fork cartridges, with 2 suspension techs, the stock ones are not revalveable, the crimp is full circle and is very high, no room for removal or to install a new cap. I can't see where you'll save any money trying to build your own, the fork kit companies are all revalveable so you can set them up for street of "full race" IMHO
But good luck, Aloha Alex
