Evotech Fender Eliminator Blinker Problem
So I installed everything and the blinkers only come on intermittently. It seems like it needs to warm up first before they even start working and even then its not consistent. Any ideas? Forgot, the blinkers are the short stock ones from the same vendor off ebay.
By the way this is my first official post and inquiry about my, new to me, 2008 HM. My previous bikes were 2008 CBR600rr and many a motocross bikes and I can honestly say this is one of the most fun bikes I have ever owned.

Providing all your wiring connections are good, and I'm assuming these new blinkers are the standard incandescent type, I'd check to see if the 'bulb wattage' on your new blinkers match the same as the stock Hyper ones. You may have too higher wattage bulbs in the new blinkers, and not enough power to make them run properly. Just an idea.
Take a bulb out of both old and new, and see if the wattage matches. Could be as simple as swapping bulbs.
Keep us posted.

Are the short stalk ones LED? If so, you might need to replace the flasher units cos the load is too low. They're quite cheap I think.
If they're normal bulbs, never mind

Hello,
here's what my understanding is of this, i've read forum posts about this before and I think you need something to regulate the current. If i'm not mistaken there is a capacitor that changes the voltage. If there LED there on different currents. did you put turn signal current in the search engine? Id google different variations of your problem. I'm not a tech I do however think i'm right. Someone else had this problem. Sorry I can't exactly pin point this but try that.

Tail light and Turn Signal LED Bulbs Fix
try this I googled your problem and it says exactly what to do to fix. The part is on amazon for 4 bucks, but if your itching to ride I bet you can get it at the auto parts store.

Thanks guys you all have been a ton of help.
Some more info: They do not indicate if they are LED or not but the stock bulbs are 12v/10w and the new ones are 12v - 12/23w
Ill give the resistors a shot, couldn't hurt, may grab some fuses while im there
